Manisa and its District During the War of Independence According to British Documents (1919-1922)

Abstract

The city of Manisa, witnessed disastrous days during the Turkish War of Independence like some other cities in the Province of Aydın.. The object of this statement is to reflect the events of that period on the basis of British documents being proserved in the British State Archives known as "Public Record Office" in London and published works of some foreign writers with regard to this city. While doing this, my intention is not to provoke feelings of hatred among the heirs of those who caused this terrible disaster and those of the victims, but to contribute literary sources on this subject.
