Copyright: The Turkish Historical Society holds the publication rights to the papers that are published in the journal. Publication in an online setting is likewise protected by copyright. Articles cannot be used for commercial purposes without permission. Without permission, articles cannot be utilized for commercial purposes. In order to increase the visibility of his or her work, an author may make the published content accessible on academic and social platforms. Articles can be used in accordance with the CC-BY-NC open access license.
Open Access is the availability of publications online to anyone, free of charge and with few restrictions on reuse. For researchers' authors, readers, and funders in particular, free dissemination of their work is important. The Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license governs the open access publication of articles in Belleten. As of June 1st, 2013, Belleten Journal has made every article available in PDF format since its inaugural issue (1937). It started to be published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license as of 01.04.2020. Turkish Historical Society Publications believes that user rights and copyright ownership must be made explicit through licensing in order for open access to function well.
The author and any non-profit organization are free to use the articles for non-commercial purposes thanks to the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. However, the Turkish Historical Society must be contacted for approval before using any content published in Belleten for commercial. You can instantly view the entire text of any article published in Belleten at https://belleten.gov.tr/.
The following actions are permitted without restriction under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license:
